Position Summary:

  • Provide accurate financial data to corporate.
  • Supply information and analysis to facilitate corporate strategic planning and decision making.
  • Provide financial management support in the form of presentation, research and analysis, planning, problem solving and risk analysis.

  • Support all upper management as requested.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 year degree in related field; Accounting Finance + 5 years experience in related field.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Improve manufacturing quality constitution by including, but not limited to, customer quality, process assurance capability and supplier quality.
  • Improve production structure by including, but not limited to, improving process efficiency, expense reduction, and overtime reduction.
  • Improve overall health and safety activities by including, but not limited to, “O” lost time/DART/ Recordable; Continuous improvement.
  • Manages day-to-day section functions
  • Completes performance reviews for all subordinate associates
  • Obtains management approval, and administers reviews
  • Coaches and counsels associates in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Closely monitors activities of all section associates against performance standards
  • Develops section skills through training and other developmental activities
  • Prepare, report and manager all aspects and accurate financial information on a monthly basis to both corporate and plant-side.
  • Prepare, support, and creation of alt aspects of the budgeting process
  • Prepare detailed variance analysis for all differences between actual and budget expenses including but not limited to, investment and expenses; Review, check, present and support Business Plan.
  • Support all internal and external audits
  • Attend all training as scheduled for the position based on skill map, training plans, and special needs as necessary
  • Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Management of cost – performing monthly cost roll-ups
  • Implementation and training for all new software implementation – plant side or NA driven
  • Weekly reporting to managers – actual vs. budget expenses
  • Work directly with top management to develop and report the results of the Business Plan and financial indicators
  • Coordinate the completion of annual, semi-annual, and quarterly business plan updates working with appropriate management to ensure accuracy of overall business plan
  • Prepare documents for periodic customer and/or company review
  • Coordinate and assist company’s periodical customer and/or company review
  • Coordinate and assist company’s periodical business plan review and associated activities
  • Prepare monthly business plan reports and meet deadlines of reporting
  • Provide logistical coordination for various top management meetings and periodical evaluation events
  • Administrate periodical documents such as monthly management report, business plan progress report, etc.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications with special emphasis on Excel QAD
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills; ability to meet strict deadlines; multi-tasking; teamwork attitude; flexible work schedule; ability to work independently
  • Reporting to this position (if applicable Asst mgr, asst chief, staff 2, coordinator positions)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Open office work-space; professional setting; No lifting over 10 lbs. required. No standing or unusual work positions required.
