Job Description



Prepare all shipping documentation on a daily basis. This includes load
sheets, labels, shippers and customs documents if required.
Send all “ASN” to customer on completion of paperwork with the driver’s
signature no later than 30minutes of departure.
File all shippers, “ASN” records and load sheets on a daily basis.
Update and maintain the dock schedule and distribute as required.
Provide administrative support to the Shipping Supervisor and provide any other
clerical duties requested.
Complete any other assigned duties required by the Production Control Manager.
Complete all Fed Ex/UPS shipments and/or any other small parcel shipments
Complete paperwork for all miscellaneous shipments and ensure all information is
on the misc shipper in order to create accurate paperwork.
Sign in all drivers and following CTPAT rules and regulations
Record CTPAT approved seals and distribute to drivers. The shipping clerk will also
ensure all seals are stored in a locked and secure area.
Be the back shipping supervisor when needed
Set up expedites when needed
Complete the DRP transactions with 30 minutes of the truck leaving
Order and cancel trucks as required by the customer releases.

Daily Duties
 Print load sheets daily and give to Shipping supervisor to assign and prioritize
 Print OEM labels
 Create shippers/custom documents
 Send ASN’s
 Notify PC Clerk/Manager of shortages
 Answer phone/emails
 Quote shipments outside regular scheduled lanes
 Arrange Fed Ex/UPS shipments
 Create CS1 schedule daily and distribute
 Send shippers to Canada and file
 Any administrative tasks as required from the Shipping Supervisor and the Production
Control Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $12.00 to $15.00 /hour
