This position is responsible for selection and management of supply bases to meet
objectives related to cost, delivery and quality. Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most
suitable suppliers who can deliver high quality products at competitive pricing. This position will
also be involved in development of purchasing strategies as well as execution of actions driven
from strategy. Such actions include but not limited to negotiation of cost with supplier, supplier
proposed VA/VE analysis and realization, continuous improvement for Quality, Cost, and
Delivery, purchase contracts, etc…
This position will also be involved in new product launch and purchase parts development
to ensure project target is achieved.
Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience (Preferred):
o Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Engineering
o 2-3 years of related experience (Automotive industry experience is preferred)
o Critical thinking skills, ability to see the big picture.
o Excellent communication and people skills
o Project management skills in automotive industry preferred.
o Technical skills (including blueprint reading)
o Negotiation skills preferred.
o Proficiency in MS Office software
o Possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
